I DIDN'T CRY- Synopsis

Based on a true story, I DIDN’T CRY is a tale of a young girl, coming to grips with the untimely death of her older sister, Santa. 14-year-old Santa’s series of indiscreet choices lead her down a path that begins with love and pregnancy, dropping out of school, continues with drugs, physical and mental abuse and ends tragically.

The story brings the question, "Do we repeat our elders' mistakes, or learn from them?"

This show explores a range of social-emotional issues including self-awareness, social awareness, and self-efficacy. It also addresses powerful and often difficult topics such as relationship abuse, substance use, parent-child dynamics, teenage pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, grief, the importance of education, and the impact of mentorship.

My goal is to remind others that they are not alone—that even in the face of life’s deepest challenges, there is hope, healing, and the possibility of transformation.
